Illinois Senate Bill 600

Senator Chris Lauzen has introduced Senate Bill 600. This is a bill designed to restore the abiilty of Republican voters to vote who will be the Chairman and Central Committee Members of the Illinois Republican Party. At present, we have no say. Yep, it's been stripped from us for 8 years.

If Andy McKenna, and his 18 cronies sitting on the Illinois Republican Party have it their way, SB600 will be blocked. They don't want to lose the control. They care nothing about pushing the Republican agenda, their only interest is staying in power.

I do not think the RINOS are your problem. I think its the crazy religious right that is part of the problem. RINOS aka moderates are the only ones that have a chance for Statewide office since Chicagoland would need to vote for them.

On the contrary, RINO's ran Congress from 2000 to 2006, they bloated government and spent like Dems. The religious right are social conservatives, that hardly playes a role.

Nevertheless, given the popularity of US Senator Peter Fitzgerald who did much to clean up corruption, he was rejected by these same Illinois Party people. Instead we got Judy Barr Topinka, a social liberal who bombed in the election.

That's what happens with RINO's at the helm.
