That was an incredible impersenation of an american. I am an american & I live in western North Carolina. ( yes, the old south ) The southern accent isn't easy to imitate. That's just what I have been told by other friends I have in England, Scotland, & Ireland. Look up the accent of western, north carolina & see if you can imitate it. I however, do not have the accent of a southerner. I am also challenging myself to imitate your accent as best I can. Wish me luck!!!!

The sound in the American "kitty" or "boating" isn't quite a d; it's called an alveolar flap (or tap), sort of in between "t" and "d."

were you speaking in an american accent the whole time or just when you did that ....kitty kitty patty patty.... thing? i couldnt really tell? i think your accent is quite soft if you were speaking nomally and if you werent i think your accent slipped a little bit
