Do your hands ever get too hot with those gloves? I'm new to riding and i wasn't sure whether to get mesh or leather..

If you are going fast enough they don't get hot but at stop lights in 80 degree weather it gets a tad bit hot.

For the side-strap Velcro bit on your jacket, you could buy some extra high quality Velcro and stitch it onto the rest of the strap if you wanted.

icon field armor $100 good hard back panels + chest as well.had it on when i went down. i ware under my jacket.

I have the same gloves. For about a week they really annoyed me as there was maybe some of the material digging into the side of my hands.

I thought maybe it was just until they broke in as they're leather so I stuck at it and now they're awesome :)
