I saw the "enhanced version" many years after it was re-released. The fact that they changed the scene irritated me. However, the sloppy way they did it irritated me even more. There are home made light saber videos that are 100 times better than the L-shaped beam from Greedo's gun. Surely, ILM could have done a better job. On another topic, the extra speeder footage was ok, but I found it unneccessary. I've seen CGI before & I'm no longer content with CGI for CGI's sake.

This is the first time I've seen this scene in its original form and I deff prefer it. I'm 22 years old and I now consider my childhood officially "raped" lol

@Stormorbiter In the new one, an extra shot of Greedo shooting before Han was added between "Yes, I bet you have," and the explosion.

Is it just me or are the only differences between this and the new one the camera angle and the giant explosion that blocks all views of both blasters?

Only Han shot. This scene was pussified in the newer versions. We can't have children idolizing a cold blooded killer, that could screw their moral compass, right George? Yeah, fuck you too.

Some people forget that Han was not a "good guy" at this point in the story.

The new version sucks. PC, CGI crap. I will always love the original I saw as a 5 year old. Lowes 34th Street Showplace. Between 8th and 9th. NYC.
