A Dalek with Domestic Difficulties

To celebrate a repair to the rear caster (thanks Dad), the Dalek was allowed out of his room and had a wander round the house. Problems with narrow door frames, the dreaded stairs, and a difficult carpet made it clear why any full-scale invasion would need to be limited to wheelchair-friendly buildings.

Daleks are a menace to your paintwork and may cause alarm to milkmen of a nervous disposition.

I wish I could claim it as my own creation but no. It was built by a brilliant young man called Jon. It is a beautiful piece of work.

This was just a quick video done for a laugh at the weekend with no preparation or thought. The reaction to it has been so pleasing, that I might do something else. Maybe he deserves a run in the garden!

It's a piece of stock music from the 60s called 'World of Plants' and it was used in 'The Space Museum'.

Aww, I feel sorry for "Murphy"...Maybe he should convert to the thin Dalek, used in Evil of the Daleks, with only 3 hemis at the back, then he'd have no problem with those doors! :P - DON'T DO THAT! It was a joke...
