I also agree, csybu. I remember hearing you long ago. You have grown much since then. We all have to do it. My first teacher, Jaime Toro, had arthritis in his hands. He was not fast, but every cantaor and bailador in London wanted him to play for them. What he could do, he did very well. That was, to fit it all together to make real Flamenco. When one of your falsetas sends a shiver down your spine and sets off fireworks somewhere in your spirit, you are a real flamenco player. Suerte!!.

Don't be put off, I have been playing Flamenco 40 years and I can STILL learn from my students. It's not about copying, but a kind of growth. You are growing. Suerte!

juan martin is the teacher, not me!
i just share what i learn!
check my video, seguiriyas con compas, and then check my older seguiriyas videos, you will see i have improved!
my subscribers have improved too, and i get a lot of positive feedback from them!
of course i always look up to a better guitarist, i know i'm not all that good :-P
in fact my friend elmaroquinole has sent a video reply to this lesson, demonstrating beautifully the alzapua technique! feel free to show us all how its done!
