When tacking a horse, begin by putting the saddle pad up to where the hair starts to grow on the withers and pull the saddle pad up into the gullet of the saddle. @cylindermatch Hitting your horse when he goes to bite you is ok. It teaches them to not bite the rider. If the horse kicks you, you knee them in the gut not to hard but hard enough to feel it. It's not wrong unless you abuse the horse for no reason. It's just bite for a bite and kick for a kick. It's just teaching the horse to not do something that could injure you.

@miniaturehorselvr well,they do most things right,but like in this video,she should've hit it on the shoulder for pawing,even though she did,he kept on doing it,so she could've done it again when he was pawing some more (not a hard smack but enough to make them stop!) & when he tried to bite her! >.< omg i wish i could teach that horse a lesson! lol
