I certainly hope Mr. Duke will make a part 2 to this movie....because from what i see at the prison everyday these females didn't get the message from this powerful movie. I see them come to the prison on visiting day and most of them are in denial. Not all but alot of these dudes are messing with other dudes in this place and then go see their female companions like nothing's up. Sisters yall better wake up and STOP lying to yourselves. The HIV rate has gone up since this move came out.

To me Mr Bill Duke,is an outstanding character acter,and a great movie director.His independent films have been fabtastic.It is truly a pleasure to view a Bill Duke film.

I have not seen the movie, but I will see it, soon. Bill Duke and Vivica Fox are stellar professionals. Know it is good.

Wanted to comment on the broad brushes painted by some here. I find it interesting that a negative situation that crops up with individual Black people is attributed to the entire Black community. Some Black men are on the downlow; some Black women engage in risky behavior. SNAP OUT OF IT!!! Some does not equal all. Internalized racism can be as harmful as racism.

Bill Duke is a prolific director also. He directed "Hoodlum" starring Lawrence Fishburne, Cicely Tyson, and Andy Garcia amid others. In addition, he directed several episodes of Miami Vice and more recently an episode of "Miracle's Boys" produced by Spike Lee. The man is intelligent and a gentleman.

He is one of the most under-rated talents in Hollywood.
