  • what does this have to do with Misha Maiski. could someone tell me please?

    thank you

  • This performance was part of a concert in which Misha Maisky played as a soloist. The concert was broadcasted on arte.

  • No oboe cadenza to start it off? :(

  • @stravelius

Sorry but the oboe cadenza was cut due to the length and size of the video...of course it was played in the concert.... ;-)

  • @kinzroo11 you probably played an arrangement in which it is omitted. I've played the original(with the oboe cadenza played by a soprano sax) and an arrangement with the oboe solo taken out(along with the slow part in the middle)

  • 1:28 lmfao

  • the part when the timpani just goes crazy is my favorite! I remember when I played this... good times :)

  • 4:35 gives me the chills!!! AND his face is hilarious, he looks close to panicking xD i love this piece!

  • This is pure gold! BRAVA!!!!!!!
