  • @shadowgun22 now you're becoming just a clown. NO everything on TV or radio or whatever is journalism. Right wing hate radio isn't journalism, nor is World Nuts Daily or other fringe websites dull of bigotry and lies.

I don't even know what "Modern Warfare" is, I assume some ugly violent video game. I haven't paid attention to video games since I plugged quarters into Asteroids in 1982. No, I don't watch TV, or play with insipid childrens' toys.

  • @PrisonerNumber9653 journalism is anything pertaining to media that the population listens, reads, or hears, radio does count, and you do watch TV because you play MODERN WARFARE

  • @shadowgun22 And NPR and PBS aren't the same thing, so you claiming to know a good deal about journalism takes another hit. NPR is radio, PBS is TV and I don't watch TV, and they're completely separate operations, though both is excellent.

  • @shadowgun22 LOL!! What a dope. NO, it is NOT a "web source." These are among the top journalists in the world, and reading it on a screen instead of on paper doesn't change that. To take the word of one or two people instead of people who actually know the WHOLE STORY is ridiculous. NO, reporters do NOT let people "disguise" themselves and just believe what one person tells them. The number of deaths is NOT made up. Yes, the Taliban is awful, and the US backed them for years.

  • @shadowgun22 I do a great deal more than just posting, it's a sick and intentional LIE to claim I said I hate this country, I absolutely do not.

I AM serving my country by fighting against inequality and injustice, and if "no one pays attention why are you responding? Repeatedly?

  • @PrisonerNumber9653 oh and also you have choices either do something worth while and stop bitching on your computer, or just leave the country you claim to hate so much, John F. Kennedy said do not ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country, what have you done other then bitch on and on where no one pays attention, do something strive to the point where people can hear your voice, cuz on hear you sound like a fat sweaty paranoid no-life.

  • @PrisonerNumber9653 so basically more web sources dude I dont wann hear you complain until you have actually talked to someone yourself who has been there, I have, my girlfriend is from Kabul, she told me how U.S army personnel saved her family and shit she is the one who told me how the terrorists use the media and lie to reporters disguising themselves as citizens, that is my source someone whos aunt was raped by the taliban, so dont come to me with your PBS crap.

  • @shadowgun22 Saying "I saw it on the internet" is as uncredible as it gets, but excellent journalists have websites. The main thing is to have a variety of sources rather than have one source. NPR's the best of the US news sources, along with the major newpapers. Of the newspapers, Guardian in London does excellent news coverage without the bias of US sources that will never question MU military leaders. Al Jazeera's heavy rotation, and a few leftie sites (Socialist Worker is excellent)

  • @shadowgun22 You're LYING. This was NOT about "not monitoring," torture was OFFICIAL UNITED STATES POLICY. Obama was RIPPED by the right for trying to close Gitmo. We shouldn't be bombing ANYONE. We had the sympathy and support of the world after 9-11, and had we used the international community to go after the extremely small number responsible, we'd have done so easily. Instead we've murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent people and accomplished nothing.

Agree TV "news" is crap. more

  • @PrisonerNumber9653 yes the torture is documented and that was horrible, but its only because no one has monitored the people doing it its an uncitely error, but honestly if what you are saying is true, then we should just carpet bomb everywhere right? oh wait we cant people have to risk their assess to go over there secure civies and take out insurgents, I would like to know where your information comes from and it cant be the internet, or tv, thats uncredible.
