@pollyb02 The video was taken at a Gala where several non local locomotives were visiting. The first loco we see is a Black BR Prairie visitor and i believe it is numbered 5221. Following that, we see a double headed train with WSR local locos GWR 5553 and 5542. Then fly bys by some of the aforementioned locos.

It was just luck i suppose! There isnt much you can do with modern camcorders to stop wind noise. My original in the 1980s had an external mic and i eventually devised quite an effective wind sock for that one. But video quality then was much inferior!

A cracking video Mike,when i get the chance i will post some video's on steam trains for you to have a look at,you see i live only a 30 min drive from York,so i think i can sort someting out,great stuff,

@Cazkumali It was taken using a Panasonic camcorder that has since been superseded.
