Portland Maine 4th of July Fireworks Barge 2010

this wasnt the main fireworks display.. I recorded a 30 minute video of the main fireworks display going off, only to have the disc malfunction :( , fortunately though, on a separate disc I recorded this tugboat pulling along a barge shooting fireworks! This is the 2nd Portland fireworks Ive ever been to and I think this is the 1st time the city has done this before. They were originally going to cancel the fireworks this year because of money reasons but they received donations and decided to have fireworks again and obviously they must have got some extra money so that they could pull this off! Half of the people were already leaving when this thing came by because they thought it was over when the main fireworks stopped. At the end you can see the several small vessels making their voyage back home (people with boats go and sit out there to watch the fireworks above them!) and also seen is a police boat (there were actually 2) which I believe escorted the fireworks barge and I also heard it announcing that ships had to move away because the barge was coming. HAPPY 4th of JULY! :D
