  • @freakloulou The difference it's only in the writing... often japanese use katakana for write foreigns' names.

  • @Kbar9 そうですね Non Japanese names as well.

  • @freakloulou the difference is that hiragana is used for words that are from japan. Katakana is used for foreign words, which became usefull during the meiji era after the samurai when japan opened up their ports. example: cake is ケーキ keeki

  • im learning katakana but i already mastered hiragana. i still have a long way to go then once i mastered katakana. then kanji which is hard to learn but could be fun ^^
