Misinformation is Killing this Nation!

How is it that within 3 months of President Obamas election, right-wing, conservative Americans were out protesting in favor of replacing the new administration with the same party who had just conducted the 36th worst administration in Americas history?
THAT is the power of the right wing media. A power marginalized by those who have not seen it and supported vehemently by its followers. I often bring up this phenomenon in conversation to be told by non-TV watchers that its just a fringe group, with no real power or threat.
Dismissing the power of the right wing media in America is as dangerous as supporting it.

The most important reason being that very little of it is based in fact. Fact is replaced by strict conservative, even neo-conservative rhetoric, packaged by slick commentators and sold as fact. Americans are buying it up faster than cheap burgers, considering Foxs soaring ratings. The obvious danger is that Americans who subscribe to the fair and balanced bent, have no idea what is actually happening in this country.
How can you possibly thrive if you are building your life on misinformation?

The neo-con driven administration we just voted out invented a worthless 3 trillion $ war, illegally spied on US Citizens, politicized the Department of Justice for the first time in American history and presided over global financial meltdown.
Still, in 3 months, they have effectively shifted attentiona and blame. They have demonstrated the power to move people, to chip away at the Presidents reputation and generally turn the tide of American sentiment against President Obama in just 3 months.
They are using the airwaveseveryday to start campaigning now for the 2010 and 2012 elections.
If they succeed, we could be stuck again with the terrible policies that got us into trouble in the first place. Not because they are good for the country, but because of lie after lie after lie.

This is why we MUST create a baseline of truth for this nation. I am proposing to do this through documentaries showing their lies as lies and fact as fact. Example:

Fact: The spending we hate is perpetrated on us by the economic collapse of 2008. If we had done nothing at all about it, economists agree, we would be in far worse shape already. Tax cuts can not control global economic catastrophe. Republicans have to yet to devise a plan to rectify the crisis. Blaming President Obama for the economic collapse is like saying the sun is a lollypop. It is absulotulty silly. It makes the rest of us wonder what to do about terribly uninformed voters.
I have dedicated my life full time to rectifying the situation with education.
What IS clear is a war of hate media is raging in this country to the point that Christians are ready to load up their guns. THAT is POWER! THAT is Danger!!!!!!




I'm a documentry film maker doing a series on Fox because if I don't they seem ready to take over the US - at least that's how I feel as I monitor them. In 100 days they won the media war. And we are at war - one side trying to kill the other. America will be the casulaty if they succed.

I am using College professors as baseline for truth and putting together a rating system by which combat commentators (O'Really, Insannity, Wreck and Limpbrain and more) are given 1-10 rating for how close they are to fact. Fact is not hard to pin down (unless you are watching Fox). They are so far off it is a farce and a danger to this country.

They are con-men - connies - supporting greed, corruption and dick Cheney. You know all this - I plan to upset the entire cart and bring fact into the forefront.

This IS the most important story in the US right now. This brain washing goes on every day of the week, and voting booths are nothing to be played with!
