  • Great engine. I'm lookin at buying one for my '54 crestline.

  • Can't say enough about saving these cool old engines. Got to remember to make sure the intake @ exhaust manifolds are flat lost a fresh rebuild on my slant the second build had a cam, the thing got me side ways off idle on the way to work @ had me grabing for my coffie cup more than once till I got use to the powerband. I was waiting for a import to line up against me on the way home never happend always seemed to rev there engines about a parking lot away, oh well

  • With the right cam, shaving the head to get the compression up some, headers and a few other add on's these can be a very peppy little motor and get some good milage as well. I've had several and they've never failed me.

  • OK, now I've heard it. :-)
