I think you are confusing what you're supposed to do with what you're expected to do. You are free, and you know it. Growing isn't a lesson in learning to live without Love, but to appreciate it and be comfortable when affection becomes less. Affection and Love are quite different.

I know that love and affection are separate tasks. I'm not sure I agree with everything stated in this video. It was sort of just a freeform monologue and not necessarily a deep reflection of my own beliefs. Something to stir up some thought. I would hate to believe I've learned to live without love. In fact, I'm certain I haven't. I seek it every day in small, personal ways.
