  • Like watching a chinese movie.......voices not with lips.........makes for horrible watching. I loved the Imperials but dont enjoy the poor quality of this. Doesnt do them justice. I went to about every Imperial concert withing 4 hours of my home town.

  • Terrible audio mix

  • Wow what a privilege to read from Jim Murray's son. I'm a Missionary Kid who grew up listening to The Imperials. I love their first stuff with your Dad the best, but I truly love all of their music. What a legacy! Please let your Dad know that his voice and music got me through some tough times and I have such fond memories of listening to this music on 8-track, vinyl, cassette, CD and mp3s! I prefer listening to my vinyl collection, I think it sounds the best! God bless and I'll be praying

  • @chowman007 Thank you--its nice to read such comments. I still love my fathers voice so please pray for him as he must have ANOTHER vocal chord surgery to remove a polyp. A new docter will be performing the surgery so...... pray hard!!

  • @bogle68 thank you,my brother. Its always nice to hear that my father is still well liked amongst the music listening community.

  • I have been an Imperials fan for decades. I, too, believe they had the best sound in the history of gospel music. My favorite mix was Jim, Armond, Terry blackwood, and Sherman Andrus. Those four topped them all.

  • Your dad was one of the best tenors in gospel, period. I'm partial to his work with the Gaither Vocal Band, but the Imperials were great. I enjoyed seeing him on the Vocal Band Reunion DVD's.

  • Well, my tnmusicman1...I must agree your dad is the best the Imperials ever had till the last two tenors before they dismantled. They were the closes thing to Jim Murray.

  • My dad is the tenor (Jim) so I am a bit biased but I still think The Imperials are the four best voices in gospel.Tom Reeves had a big hand in my becoming a drummer as well as Tom Hemby in my playing guitar.

This song is short but I love it.Everytime I hear it I have to smile and hum along.

RIP to my brother Jackie Street.
