And Your Bird Can Sing

With the impending onset of Beatlemania Part Deux (remastered albums and "Rock Band" video game releasing on 9/9/09), I thought this would be an appropriate song choice to test two things: 1) my new recording setup; and 2) my new HD camcorder.

I'm new to all this youtube HD stuff, so hopefully everything works as planned. I'm not sure if you actually have to click on the "HD" button to see it in HD or not, but I'm sure y'alls will figure it out...

I decided to record this particular song since I had Beatles on the brain (due to aforementioned Beatlemania stuff), plus it's one of my all-time favorite Beatles tracks that doesn't seem to get much attention, and oh yeah, it's also really short.

Note: I didn't actually listen to the original track for reference before recording this, so the instrument parts probably don't match the original too closely. But whatever, it sounds alright to me.

The video was filmed on location entirely in my back yard. Also, this wasn't exactly my original vision for the final product - it's actually my first draft placement of all the shots. It was taking forever to tweak and rearrange stuff (on top of waiting an hour or so between each render), so I pretty much just said "F@#$ it" and uploaded as-is.
