How to work the knit side of a 2 Stitch Right Cross Cable without a cable needle.

This is a Stocking Stitch fabric with a simple 2 stitch cable cross without using a cable needle. The demo for the Purl Side is in second video.

  • Slip 1st stitch as normal, after this all stitches are done in pairs as follows- slip stitch one; stitch two knitted by inserting right hand needle from front; bring stitch one back over stitch two; knit stitch one as normal; repeat. for purl side- slip 1st stitch as normal, then in pairs again; slip stitch one; purl stitch 2 inserting right needle from back; bring stitch one back over stitch 2; purl stitch one as normal. love it!
