Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of PINBALL HALL OF FAME: THE GOTTLIEB COLLECTION for the Playstation 2 PS2 video game console systems. This game by Crave (who recently made the Williams Pinball Hall of Fame) was released in 2004 and features a number of classic pinball machines from Gottlieb. Games included are Black Hole, Victory, Tee'd Off, Ace High and Central Park. This is a fun pinball video game and very well done with nice emulation of an actual pinball machine, without all the hassle of repair and looking for spare parts. How do you fix a vintage pinball machine? Buy this game and don't worry about it. Released for the PS2, Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube this game harks back to the days when these massive multi-ball machines ruled the arcade. So jump into some retro old school gaming from the days of the arcades and dig Gottlieb pinball! Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The HD series is reviewing PS3, PS2, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. • Pinball FTW!!!

  • Silly me, Gladiators is by Premier, let'S hope it also gets a collection. All of the pinball companies who made great pinball machines, deserve a collection.

  • I want the Classic Game Room Pinball Table some one tell the guys at Zen Pinball about this that would be bloody awesome but we should add in the Stella Multiball and some quotes from Mark to make it 1millon times better

  • doesn't this basically have the same exact tables as Gottliebs pinball classics for the psp?

  • im 21 and i brought this game 3 year ago and it was amazing graphic and gameplay but it was not a fast pace pinball action but sure it was still fun!!

  • I bought this game at Gamestop quite some time ago, and to be honest I enjoy playing it a lot. I'm almost 42 yrs. old and during the 1970's I basically cut my teeth on old pinball games, the whole pinball arcade experience with my Dad set me up real good to become a semi-serious gamer later on in life. Again, I like this game, I feel like I'm getting my $1.99 worth out of it. Maybe next I'll try and look for that Williams pinball collection!

  • The ball physics in this game are horrendous. My wife picked this up for me used at Gamestop for either $3 or $5 and it's barely worth even that. The Williams collection is better but still nowhere near perfect. Pinball FX2 is the only way to go for great video pinball action.

  • I think ZEN pinball is better but this is good too.

  • I want to play South Park Pinball at home. That is my favorite pinball table. Everytime I see one, I lose two hours and twenty bucks.

  • Great review. I just bought this game and I'm very much looking forward to trying it out.

  • I created the table CGR using the Future Pinball Development System:

    watch?v=YR8ep1KoOq0&NR=1

    8:00 = Vectrex version :D

  • Played Tee`d Off in a bar last night in Namba Osaka(^ー^) It was a real surprise as there are hardly any pinball machines left in Japan.

  • PINBALLIN'!!!

  • Hey this was uploaded on my birthday!!!

  • I got for the Wii.

  • @se7six nice! look up vpforums and theres tons of user made tables as well as recreations of other tables...and if your up for it, check out visual pinball, tho its kinda confusing to set up at first, its rewarding in the end cuz theres like every single table ever made haha

  • @darkinertia2 Thanks for the tip! I downloaded Future Pinball and it is GREAT!

  • btw there is an awesome game called future pinball thats an open source pinball game that you can actually make your own pinball table completely from scratch! its awesome and theres a forum that has tons of good tables and recreations of old ones as well.... and a feature for head tracking movement so you can move your head and the camera would move with you...amazing

  • lol at 1:13, one of the games signs are called "play boy"

  • I have it for PS2. I can't wait to try the williams. This one is simply the

    worst.

  • Whatever the failings of this compared to the incredible Williams PHOF, I love the tables on this collection... so much drop target goodness!

El Dorado City of Gold, however, had to be designed by Satan himself. If it weren't for the cool art and sound, I think it'd be easy to label it the Jive Time (aka unforgiving, low scoring, fast draining, quarter sucking POS) of this collection.

Crave really needs to bring their talent for pinball to XBLA, PSN, etc. and start giving Zen some competition!

  • i have on psp only i have 11 tables =)

  • I love the GOTTLIEB collection they did for the Wii.

  • the ball looks small in comparison to the table

  • @Corad4 Particularly Data East and Bally......As well as Premier(Like you said), and, if they could negotiate the rights(I doubt it, but ya never know), Sega Pinball......Though it's too early for a Stern Pinball collection(I mean, theyr'e the only remaining pinball manufacturers left these days, and we want them to keep going, don't we?).

And as for the video.........I'm sorry, but I f**king LOLed at the end(With the "Classic Game Room Pinball" preview; Some needs to make that, really xD)

  • I'm KRP i'm owning 2 tables with hs in here.. my dad owns 1 in hs.
