  • A favorite of Master pianist Michael Ponti, however he preferred the roll made by Hofmann: Gilels adopts a faster tempo than most others and takes great pains (like Katchen) to demonstrate his great technique. A truly fabulous performance...

  • " A lot of non-stop action on thiz piece keeping the momentum of awe constant. "

  • Its Imposible

  • ...well, Gilels is supposed to be some kind of a moody Russian, with all that soul...where did the freaking soul go?...

  • i laughed at the end. fun times. definitely helps to have an instrument w a well regulated/accelerated action. this would be a dream to play on a shigeru.

  • incredible..

  • Overwhelming and beautiful.

  • Wow, never heard this version sounds awesome. Would have loved to hear cziffra as well tackle this one. Thanks for the vid.

  • Un pezzo giocoso, non avevo mai sentito Gilels su questo....

    Grazie.
