This is an update of my condition since the last videos posted on August 2010. I talk about my stem cell collect, new drugs and treatments available to control this cancer. Message of hope for anyone recently diagnosed with Multiple-Myeloma.

  • The discussion of the auto-transplant is to have it now or later. Most doctors are still firm believers in doing it as earler as possible. Even though the reseach shows that it seems to have no impact to life expectancy. I will undergo some more agressive treatments this fall to collect more stem cells. For a potential 2nd transplant, if necessary. The problem is when you have Melphalan (chemo), you are not collectable. My quality of life is really what motivates me. Thanks & good luck.

  • im happy for you that everything looks good. my mom has myeloma.. she had the stem cell transplant. cells were harvested from her...after it and after having the largest dose of chemo she has 1% of cancer cells left. stay strong, youre a warrior.
