Really? well that explains alot, still begs the question as to why they were playing that tune to a collage of Beatles photographs.

I want to teach this as a poem someday. What's interesting is how the shifts in pronouns mark an increasing sense of separation (which is what the lyric is all about). First, he refers to the girl as part of a first person plural ("our love"; "the things we done"). Then there's a shift to second-person (i.e., they're no longer connected): "wishing you were here by me." And then comes the complete separation of third person (she's no longer there to be spoken to: "I wonder where she will stay").

That's no Beatles version. It's just a slowed down version of the same song! The Beatles never recorded a cover of this tune.
