DIY: Massagebar

Rezept: (ungefähre Mengen)
30g Kakaobutter
8g Sheabutter
4g Öl (z.B. Mandel-, Kokos- , JOJOBA-(empfehlenswert) Öl
0.5ml Duft

Dort gibt es auch einige Parfümöle (besser nicht ätherische Öle als Duft nehmen).

Instructions for english-speaking viewers:
recipe:
30g cocoa Butter
8g sheabutter
4g oil (i.e. almond~, coco~, jojoba (best!!))
0.5 ml fragrance oil

First melt the cocoa butter in the water bath but be careful that the water doesn't get to hot (test with your finger if you can leave it in the water, then it's ok). Put in the oil and let the cocoa butter melt completely. Then add the shea butter and heat very carefully since the sheabutter is sensitive to high temperatures. It's best if you dip your vessel in the water only for a minute, lift it, stirr and put it back in and so forth. As soon as the solution shifts from looking milky to clear, take it out, add your scent and pour it into your mold. let it cool for half an hour, put it in the frdge and after about 5 hours it's hard. It still gets a little harder the next week or two, so take this into consideration and decide which consistence you like (more oil means softer, less oil/more cocoa butter means harder).

Hallo erstmal kompliment zu deinem Video . Wollte dich mal fragen ob man auch lebensmittelfarbe hinzugeben kann oder ob du davon abratest ?

@apollo0590 Huhu! Doch das kannst du machen, aber da würd ich dir die weiße kakobutter empfehlen, statt der gelblichen, sonst sieht man das nicht so gut, bzw braucht viel mehr Farbe. Ich hab das mit der flüssigen farbe in den Fläschnchen probiert udn man muss halt ordentlich rühren, damit sich das einigermaßen löst, aber es klappt auf jedenfall. =) Und man sieht auch nix auf der Haut davon. Viel Spaß beim ausprobieren!

I have a question..I like using the cocoa butter raw..like i bought it because i like how it melts(it takes a while to melt on your body) but I don't like the smell.my question is why if i melt and pour the cocoa butter and add nothing at all to it the consistency is not the same.It melts a lot faster than if I don't melt and pour.anyone knows why is that??..i bought lush terapy massge bar and that bar doesn't melt quickly at all..I just can't understand why....thanks.great vid btw
