@TheCommando868 you say shooter...or targets or are you a hunter? if i hit something on the run, and it tumbles ass over head...im going to LOL. if i make a 600 yard shot, open sights (was 3 inches low with my m91/30) im going to say FUCK YES. if i hit a deer in the liver and it runs off, in pain...im right behind it with a 2nd round to put it down quickly. then i celebrate. meet on the table, a tag filled, and a new story to tell the boys. lighten the fuck up!

@pray4theGay 300 WSM with a 180 gr bullet is moving 3013 fps (Nosler data) a 300 RUM is moving 3220 with the same bullet.. 300 WSM energy at 200 yards is 2650 ft lbs, 300 RUM is 3254 ft lbs.. to have a safe kill on a deer you need about 1200 ft lbs of energy.. so a 300 WSM is good for approx 730 yards, and a 300 RUM is good for about 900 yards.. (1200 ft lbs for each at that range)

(aka "King of Elk Rounds") which @200yds has energy values similar to a .30-06 @ MUZZLE!!!... AND... chucks a MONDO MEGA LIGHTS OUT 200-250gr projectile @ that 200yd zero! If so that's WAY COOL!!! I don't have the wallet nor the shoulder for that kinda shooting!!! That MONSTER comes in with recoil somewhere around two times that of a bolt .308... ouch.

300wsm weak at 200 yards, i guess i will stick to my 30-30 magnum that the ammo manufacture says to sight in at 200 yards. nice shot btw
