  • good observation, i didn't notice that before, could be the sound guy tweaking on the fly, but it sounds intentional because the delay/reverb fades in, I think it's applied to the entire kit, you clearly echo on the bass drum also; effects could have been done post?

  • Cobham was my second favorite jazz/rock fusion drummer behind Tony Williams. He also was killer on the skins. This is a tight cut and I got to give props to Randy Brecker's work on the trumpet.
