Clacton is a seaside town in Essex.
-
London to Brighton now with Mum and 3 kids?
Probably about £60...
-
£8.23 return!
The good ol' days"
-
Clacton ha ha!
-
That's what happens when you go from running something as a public service to running it as a business ...
-
I'm sure kids were clamouring for Clacton in the hols and I never realised international oil corporations were such caring insitutions. Seriously, these ad's are incredibly well cast, there are some great character actors here!
-
That's a point...I remember the advert for ESSO and Amoco and Shell "You can be sure of Shell" and castrol GTX liquid engineering...National with the Smurfs... But...what petrol companies advertise now??? They dont bloody have to.
-
Soda Stream!!! OMG I remember these word for word!!!!
-
"No-one's ever going to look forward to buying petrol" - you wouldn't have known how true those words would sound 28 years later!

I've got a 1980 Sony Beta Max that works, but my oldest video is from 1981. I can't beat the oldness of your adverts.
Brilliant. I've got a picture of my Dad with his 'Jam Sandwich' Police Granada in 1979, exactly the same as this one.
