An attempt to replicate one of my favourite tracks by Linkin Park, In The End.

"Please comment and vote!"... thanks!

I made this track using FL Studio, upon being inspired by the song, over a number of weeks. No infringement of copyright law is intended, nor do I wish to insult the creativity of Linkin Park and its affiliates. The reason for which I composed this cover was purely for enjoyment, and is not intentionally in breach of copyright law.

Linkin Park have been an inspiration to me, in the way of music, for some time now, and this video and track is intended to be a tribute to the band, and the great work they have done!

The track has been made and is being played at 115 bpm (beats per minute).

Equipment used:

Software:
- FL Studio 7 XXL Aired Producer Edition (Music Composition)
- CamStudio (Screen Capture)
- Magix Movie Edit 10 (Video Production)
- Realtek HD Audio Manager, and corresponding CODECs
- Virtual DJ

VSTi and other Instruments:
- FL Slayer (Guitar)
- FL Keys (Piano)
- FPC (Drum Machine) + Real Drum Kit instrument packs
- Plucked
- BooBass (Bass Guitar)
- Wasp (Effect)
- DirectWave Track (Violin & Viola)

Effects:
- Fruity Chorus
- Fruity Reeverb 2
- Fruity Multiband Compressor
- Fruity Reeverb
- Fruity Stereo Enhancer
- EQUO (Equaliser)
- Fruity Seven Band EQ (Equaliser)
- Fruity Filter
- Fruity Soft Clipper
- Fruity Flanger

Other:
- Dell Computer Systems and Speakers
- SONY Stereos
- SONY Headphones

P.S. I apologise for the poor quality of the video... that was as a result of having to encode the video twice.

  • Wow, I love FL Studio and I love this song, and when you put them together this well, I can only describe the result is AWESOME!

  • @Levitosio cool! Many thanks for the suggestion! I'll take it on board and play about with it a little, and see what I get! Haha, thanks very much! Take a listen to my cover of Papercut too, if you haven't done so already; it's almost certainly my most favourite piece of work! I'll take a listen to yours now! Cheers again! =)

  • @Levitosio I'm more than happy to take criticism, but you might want to read the video info first... I've used effects and EQs, but it may just not be very apparent that they have in fact been used! Which sounds in particular do you think aren't realistic? And, thank you very much!
