Can't believe what I've just seen. I don't think I'll be watching my old vhs version of this adventure ever again.

saw this dvd and it was amazing!!!!

Hey @drwhoonline, why is this clip uploaded with such poor audio? Please go easy on the compression settings next time. YouTube can handle full quality video and audio these days!

Disintegrating Ogrons! Brilliant!

@gn33101 I'm pretty sure I have DVDs with both the new and old versions of Star Wars on them...?
-
Wow. Could you put any more freaking logos on the screen if you tried? I mean, you still have two corners left.
-
got it. watched it. happy? oh yes!

@gn33101 its so incredibly, stupidly, simple to do. You have option A the original and option B the enhanced episode on one or two discs. Why can't Lucas, king of the technical stuff, manage this simple task?

@metalgeariain Both versions? sweet.
George Lucas could learn a thing from these guys.
@Timelordalex Death to the Daleks is excellent mate. My favourite Pertwee Dalek tale. That was the first release I bought on VHS back in the day - can't believe it isn't out already

This kind of "restoration" I can really get behind. The shots in here really make this feel like DW the way it should have been! If only they'd had the budget.
I like most of the new shots done for the original Star Trek, though again, due to budget limitations, it's not as clean as I would have liked (even better if they had been able to shoot new models instead of all CG.)
This looks great though! The Daleks looks real, not CG. Still really looking forward to this.
