They are "intellectually western" in some sense.....but I would rather call it "values of today's age".......
As far as English language is considered.......India had even produced a Nobel laurate in English literature in 30's.....Therefore it is a part of the Indian ethos! along with Indian languages!
Actually a lot of ppl in the "West" have "Eastern value system"(than Indian middle class)......anyhow lets see where it goes!.......
