The newspaper report on this incident says he was charged with failure to file reports on the incident - of detaining a guy he thought threw the snowball, which turned out to be a lawyer. The second cop who had his gun drawn did it cause he was called there by 911 saying there was a man with a gun on the street. I'm no fan of the police but you don't throw a spotless 20 year career away over this. He never actually aimed it at anyone which is lucky for him.
