  • mccleanjacob,

With the Hypertech Max Energy you can adjust the shift points and shift firmness.

Check out the listing on our website for little more information on the power programmer.

  • what makes me laugh is that short box single cab needed a guide into the bigest fucking garage in the world lol

  • Yea, those big American engines have much pontential that is not really being used, a VW's 4.2L V8 produces 350 HP, and brings the VW Phaeton to 250 km/h easily.. Now, a Silverado's Vortec 5300 just has 315 HP, that's what I'm on it about it has much pontential that's not being used. Me for my person, I actually like that you can still optimize your Silverado, it'd be pretty boring if it'd already have 500 HP from the factory, although could be easily done..

  • I have the same engine with a k&n intake, jet mass air flow sensor, throttle body spacer, and dual straight pipe exhaust with cats, I just bought one of these programmers and was looking for some advice on the tuning for best performance and gas mileage combination. any suggestions?

  • @Juggalo72

it does give more power. the bad thing about a custom tune is that if you need to take it to the dealer then you need your vehicle back to factory settings. thats what i heard. i have the programmer on my truck and it works great. it amazes the shit out of me of how fast my truck goes now.....topped it out at 120 and thats because my speedometer stops at 120. dont know how fast it really goes. im gonna use a gps to let me know....dont know if this helped but thought i would share.
