the 1st one is what I recognise as a tired &restless kind of cry, 2nd one hungry kind of cry or wanting a cuddle, 3rd colic!! so yh pain/uncomfortable.

Wow these doctor don't know jack about baby cries. I recommend the Dunstan Baby Language System. We used it and it works. There is no guessing. you will have peace in your home and your baby will almost never get to the point of crying because as a parent you will know EXACTLY what the baby is saying. There are 5 totally different grunt-like sounds they make. If you don't remedy their grunt -- they will then cry.
