Despite what your religious beliefs may or may not be, that's a cold thing to say. I'm an American but no matter what, this woman was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and a leader. Your ignorant response is typical of this "ME generation" that I unfortunately have had to grow up in. The Queen Mother as she was called, had more strength and courage than I'm sure you could ever have. Go back to your hole.

@ctcoet what has religion got to do with an old lady dieing?

This is the only hymn I have heard by congregation and choir. Have I missed something?

Bellisimos los himnos. Muy conmovedores en este funeral de la Reina Madre.

@TJJ5621 Yes, funerals tend to be family occasions--and they're all second and third cousins...

@Meskiagkasher ALL atheism results in this. From where do you suppose ANY virtue comes from? The selfish gene?
-
if "your" atheism results in this, you are doing something wrong.
-
@Meskiagkasher Because of the indifference, lack of respect, lack of unity that athiesm result in
...As an Atheist, watching this I can not help but feel a little tug of doubt in my own Atheism...

That Anglican chant setting of Psalm 121 is by Sir Henry Walford Davies. One of the loveliest that I know.
