"Have you ever engaged in fornication???!!! Have you ever had premarital sex???!!!"

In the 1980's, Brother Jed and Sister Cindy were regulars on the campus preaching circuit, attempting to mold the minds of college students on the Ohio State Oval every spring. Watch Brother Jed and Sister Cindy berate sinners in Sally Jesse Raphael's audience and aetheists on her panel, who ostensibly are all "going to burn in eternal hellfire." A highly entertaining clip from 1988!

Although Brother Jed and Sister Cindy probably set back Christianity 2,000 years, they greatly advanced comedy! Just kidding, believe it or not, I think in their own way they probably do some good! (Diffrent strokes!) As Brother Jed says in this clip, "Open rubuke is better than secret love!"

Part 1 is relatively tame, but Jed and Cindy really get on a roll in Parts 2 and 3. Enjoy this classic!

For more information, Brother Jed also talks about his appearance on the Sally show at:

  • Jed and Cindy remind me of the insane religious character in the movie "The Mist". Stephen King is right... many people, including religious and "saved" people, if it weren't for human law, would be killing others.

  • Its fake arrogant and self-righteous Christians like those to that make it hard for the real saints to preach the true message of Christ and draw people to Jesus. They know every scripture about hell and damnation, but managed to miss evey last one about love, kindness, gentleness and temperance. Put them and a rank sinner before Christ in the judgement and which one do you think He is gonna tell "depart for me I knew you not"?

Yeah... Jesus was rude, look at the temple clearing---Jesus was condescending, look at the woman who begged Him for a healing(look at what He said to her), and Jesus(and all the apostles) were very judgmental.

I'm not here to back up brother Jed and his wife, but I have to ask you since you are making a judgment right now within your comments---do you preach openly? Or are you judging hypocritically?

  • Ha! They have a love for people?! Then stop calling everyone whores and telling them they are going to burn in hell!

  • @mallymal98 The problem isn't whether it preaches love or not, the problem is that the bible preaches hate at all. That's exactly like saying "He gives money to the poor so we should ignore that he rapes children."

  • @chesterdjester I never questioned whether or not they knew the scriptures, just how they preach them. Since you seem to know some scripture, have you ever read Eph 4:15, Jer 31:3 or John 13:35. These all instruct us in how we are to reach out to others: IN LOVE! These two are speaking truth, but there is no love in it. They were rude, condescending and totally judgemental. Sadly I admit this is how many Christians behave, but it is not everybody regardless of what your experiences have been.

  • @mallymal98 Yes. I'm tired of people saying "They aren't true Christians" when they just happened to have taken the scripture literally. All Christians are fake, no one actually takes anything the bible says seriously, otherwise women would never talk, disobedient children would be stoned and virgin girls of other faiths would be raped by true Christians.

  • @chesterdjester I take it you had some issue with my comment?

  • @mallymal98 Lemme respond with scripture. They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

I'm atheist and know more about scripture than them and probably you.

  • It's the snuggle bear!
