I've never cage fought, but I train Jujitsu, and 3 minutes is actually a long time to most people who have never physically fought someone for 3 minutes lol It sounds like 3 minutes... Not that long... But when you're under a Jujitsu guy who's got his hooks in and putting hip pressure on you setting up the Americana and you're fighting for your life trying to shrimp out and unhook hooks and bumping up to create space etc Then you look at the clock and it's like 30 seconds passed... AWWW SHIT!

And your point is invalid because you are simply being defensive defending Aoki.So im ok with that but when you say especially aoki not caring I disagree because he has said in many interviews that he is trying to improve himself and cares whats his fans think.I have been supporting him for yrs and he needs to stop crying like a little girl when he dont get his way. and what was with him flipping off the guy he submitted and flip his fans off 2

I'll just be honest, no one, especially Aoki, cares about some random guy on the internet respect... Which he already has worked on his stand up, he kicks alot, and punches sometimes, but he mostly kicks, which makes sense since he's super flexable and good with his legs from grappling.

Melendez is nowhere aoki when it comes to grappling. He showed he is a martial artist by taking it to aoki by punching the hell out of aoki in aoki's guard. and that showed heart plus ball's.he punched aoki's face to a pulp. and broke his spirit.it was almost sad to continue to watch. I actually wanted aoki to win with a amazing super gogoplata. So I was pretty pissed off.once aoki starts to work his stand up and ko power I will give him respect.

Dude chill back and relax k.he proberly is a ok person to hang out with? but that is different issue im talking about fighting spirit and adapting to fighting situations. he has shown me he is narrow minded and doesnt have the samurai courage and discipline to be taken seriously as a true martial artist. Bruce lee was a true martial artist who adapted his body to any given physical situation.hayato sakurai exposed aoki fighting heart and so did melendez

I honestly don't think he cares what you think and you don't have a right to judge other peoples lives based on fighting... I'm sure he's a very nice and fun person to be around... He's alot better than you, so why are you talking bad about him...

Hiya bro, I respect Aoki's credentials in regards to grappling.But as a fighter I dont respect him AT ALL.Because he doesnt have the mind of a true martial artist who would have the sense to adapt his prowess to all opponents. He showed he can strike a little against shaolin riberio who is pathetic as stand up fighter. Where was his heart against his Melendez.
