Oh My Jonas Ep. 184 (Part 2)- Heartbeat

(AN: Make sure you read PART 1!!!

Joe takes her hand and leads her downstairs.

Joe: You want any hot chocolate or anything?

Demi: I'm all set.

They go into the living room and Joe goes over to the fireplace and starts a fire back up. He sits on the couch and holds his arms out.

Joe: Come snuggle with Joe.

Demi: -Smiles.- You're so weird -She goes over and sits next to Joe and he wraps his arms around her.-

Joe: But in a cute way, right? (AN: JONAS)

Demi just laughs.

After a minute.

Demi: So, what are we actually doing down here?

Joe: Anything you want.

Demi: Hmmm.....there's nothing that I want. I've got you.....what more could I need?

Joe: You sure there's nothing?

Demi: -Pauses.- I just want you to tell me how you knew I was the one.

Joe: -Smiles.- Hm, well. When I first saw you at school, I knew there was something different about you. I wasn't sure what, but something was different. And my relationship with Chelsea was already coming to an end. I saw you drop all your things that day and I helped you and decided to be your friend. Then you were sick and I felt the strange urge to make sure you were okay every second, and to protect you. Then your dad left that one night and you came to my house and I let you stay. I wanted you to stay, so bad. I knew then that I was falling for you. Hard -Demi smiles.- Your mom left and my mom was happy to let you stay at our place. Then we had to go out for those concerts. I thought you had started to like Nick and I got so jealous and angry that I had to ask you and when you denied it, I kissed you.

Demi: And what an amazing kiss it was.

Joe: -Smirks.- Remind me how it went again.

Demi smiles and passionately smashes her lips to his. Joe smiled into it and pulls Demi on his lap to straddle it. She puts her hands on either side of his face and kisses him back as his arms snake around her waist.

After a minute, Demi pulls away.

Demi: I love you.

Joe: -Kisses Demi softly.- I love you, too -Kisses her again.- So much.

Demi smiles and kisses him again.

About an hour later, a bit past 1am, Joe is laying on the couch on his back and Demi is laying flat on top of him, her head on his chest. Joe was running his fingers lightly through Demi's hair. She smiled.

Joe: What?

Demi: I can hear your heartbeat.....it sounds nice.

Joe: -Smirks.- Okay.

Demi: It's really steady and calming -She closes her eyes and almost falls asleep but Joe's voice brings her back a minute later.-

Joe: Do you want to go back up to bed?

Demi: Yeah.

Joe carefully gets up with Demi in his arms. He lays her on the couch and turns to put out the fire. Joe scoops Demi back up in his arms and starts walking upstairs. Joe goes into his room and lays Demi gently on the bed and he climbs on next to her, pulling the blankets up.

Demi grabs Superman the bear and holds him tight and Joe pulls Demi into him, she buries her face in his chest.

Demi: Thank you, Joe.....for everything.

Joe: You're welcome. I love you.

Demi: I love you, too.

They both drift off to sleep.
