  • I found a laptop similar to this on the dumpster. The specs are pretty much the same, except the HDD is 40GB, and the processor is 1.8Ghz.

  • @yelnam2manley What's the processor model?

  • woww!

can i install windows 7 on my compaq presario 2100?

one year ago i tried to install it but the audio and the video didnt work

  • @yosoytuloquendo34 Yes you can, but you will not have any native drivers other than XP drivers. When I ran Vista on this, I can use XP drivers and I can get the audio and video to work.

  • LOL score on your computer was 1.0

  • @supergodofcod4 Haha yeah. That's what you expect on a old computer running Vista or 7. But the main reason why its 1.0 because I'm using a XP driver under Vista.

  • @infinitypark003 AMD Athlon XP Mobile 2200+ 1.8Ghz

  • but the screen was cracked, so I ordered one on e-bay for cheap.

  • @rockwizard101 Battery: Your battery could be dead. Try to disconnect the Power Source and see If the battery will still work. If It shuts off, then most likely your battery died.

Wireless: It should automatically see a SSID when a Network is in Range.
