'Ashura Imam Hussein (a.s.) Karbala azadari (maddahi madahi medahi, sinehzani sinezani, noha nohe nawha, matam) in Jamaran (Tehran), led by Hojjat al-eslam hajj seyyed Kosari (Kowsari),

In the presence of Imam Khomeini (r.a.), as well as IRGC Pasdaran Basijis and Army heroes headed for the fronts of the Sacred Defence (Iran Iraq war).

From Imam Hossein's (a.s.) martyrdom at the battle of Karbala, to the 15th Khordad movement and then the Islamic Revolution, the Muharram mourning ceremonies and the political tears (geryeh ye siasi) they provoke, strengthen the Muslims faith in Allah (s.w.t.) and their determination to oppose the injustices of their time. This ensures victory against imperialism, global arrogance and oppression.

THANKFULLY Turkey is a secular state, it will ALWAYS be a secular state thanks to a 90 year old constitution, and it will never have a state religion. @yaseminguven64 Stop picking on Iran and Muslims, last time I checked, homosexuality was outlawed in more than 100 countries worldwide, a great proportion of which are not Islamic, another great proportion of which are secular. Secularism is almost as ancient a doctrine as theocracy, but to me there is no proof that a secular system is overall superior. Secularism has not prevented Turkey from having a major issue with its Kurds, of being rejected from the EU despite adopting their culture, etc.
