@kainthevampireduck i know MK2 comes in this bundle , what i was asking if MK 2 audio in this bundle as the same of earlier released MK2 CD stand alone because i bought MK 2 CD 2 days ago :(
-
@kainthevampireduck sega did something like that for mk1 on genesis, sub zero walks like scorpion, wich also doesn't feel right :/
-
@nostalgiaholic777 yes, it came bundled with mk1 in a "cd rom pack" or something like that, but they didn't improve it in any way, the graphics are the same, the sound is the same, the music is the same midi music not the digital tracks from the arcade.
also, the only thing that prevents the pc port of mk2 to be great, is the stance of the ninjas: both scorpion and reptile walk like sub zero!.
I guess something had to go in order to make the game playable on a 486 with 8mb

@i2thadean I have the floppy disks, the cd version is on a rar file somewhere on a "games compilation" dvd (nothing ripped, is a small game and it doesn't use cd-da tracks, the digital music is stored in files).
hehe, I have working floppy disks from the 80s and 90s :)

ok this not about MK 2 but i'd l love to know , was the MK 2 first released on CD-ROM as same as this version ?

@kainthevampireduck damn, you answered the hell out of my question lol. you still own it?

@i2thadean 386 dx 40mhz with 4mb ram and 256 or 512k vga card for "low" settings, for "high" settings (the stages were completly drawn, on low there was some stuff missing!!), a "local bus" or pci svga card with 1 or 2 mb was enough. oh, and 8mb ram was more than enough.
sound blaster or 100% compatible card recommended for sound!. (a sound blaster pro 2 or sound blaster 16 isa are the best cards for DOS games. always isa!, the compatibility of pci cards is average at best :/ )

@dtm139 I have it too, maybe I can send it to you

@i2thadean The original hardware for the arcade unit was a 386.. So i guess it would work fine on a 386. Also, the arcade used 4096 colors on screen, while the dos only uses 256..
So, where we can take this CD version of MK? Can not find it anywhere.

@dtm139 on snesorama forums, but game was stored on megaupload and megaupload is currently down, which means I'm one of few who have this game now. I kinda won't upload it, cuz since US goverment is batshit insane I won't risk it.
