  • Thanks for putting this tribute together, the memory of Big Fellah will live forever!

Visited his home in Clonakilty last November and it has to be one of he most beautiful and peaceful places in Ireland.

    "tabhair dom do lámh"

  • Very interesting, thank you!

  • What a man. RIP

  • Proud to be Irish and! They stood up to the british back then... RIP Michael Collins our hero x

  • Collins was a West british turncoat free State bastard....his skull was blown open. Dirty fuckin traitor!!!

  • @gordonmcp Yes, the "presidential arses"

  • Its a constant source of sadness and frustration to ponder what Ireland's future would have been if Michael Collins would have had the chance to lead in peacethe country he fought so hard to free.I'm sure it would be a 32 county, democratic and most importantly secular nation.DeValera became just a Vatican sock puppet and kept the country in thrall to that most devious of cults .Ireland deserved better ,and still does It will be down to the decent Irish of the 2000's to finish Micks work now!

  • @Irish2theCore1916 We're not all the same over here,I can tell you.British imperalism is wrong as is all imperialism.

  • Love to hear what there saying! but I suppose sound recording wasn't available in Ireland at the time.

  • Incredible these pictures!!

I'm since a long time fascinated by the story off Michael Collins, since I saw the movie.Didn't know there excisted real pictures of him.Thnx..!

  • @chewbacka3210.All it will take is a moderate return to wealth to shift the balance back.Everybody talks Labour/FG and votes FF. You haven't realised it yet but we are all characters in The Third Policeman the Flann O'Brien novel.
