Nick: *opens the door* Sel? what are you doing here?

Selena: i got fired and i don't want Demi to know cause she'll think it's all her fault and and *sighs*

Nick: come in *steps aside* what happened?

Selena: i was late today and my boss wasn't happy that i've been calling in sick and i guess someone said they say me at lunch with the kids. So he fired me.

Nick: well ........ more time for Nick *kisses her* i missed you anyways

Selena: *leans her head on his* we've been busy

Nick: Demi needs us

Selena: *nods* she's getting a little stronger.

Nick: thats good.

Selena: ........ i need a nap

Nick: how bout some ice cream first?

Selena: that sounds nice *walks in with him*

Joe: hey finish your dinner

Demi: i'm full

Joe: i don't care eat

Demi: meanie *puts her hand on the tray and lays it there* ...... Joe

Joe: yes you have to eat it

Demi: i can't ..... my arms are tired

Joe: *Looks up from his magazine and sees Demi trying to grab her fork* here *grabs Demi's fork and puts food on it.* open up

Demi: i'm sorry you have to do this

Joe: don't be.

Demi: *opens her mouth*

Joe: you know Amber and Josh might be the easiest kids ever. I mean i only had one bad day with Josh and the rest they've just been playing in the living room.

Demi: Sel said you needed help the bad day.

Joe: yeah Josh really wanted you. he doesn't like me when he has a fever.

Demi: i've always been there this is hard for him. hell its hard for me.

Joe: what would happen when you got sick i mean before i came what would you do?

Demi: Sel takes over if it's really bad but i don't get sick a lot and if i am i just ignore it. Thats what sucks about amnesia i can't ignore the fact that i'm going to fall right to sleep after this cause lifting a fork to my mouth just whipped me out.

Joe: *gives her the last bite and puts the tray by the door for the morning* you just need to keep relaxed and sleep. trying to ignore your tiredness isn't gonna get us anywhere.

Demi: i guess.

Joe: the kids are fine but they'd be better if you got better so

Demi: so i should sleep

Joe: yes

Demi: for someone who only had to care for himself your very good at caring for others.

Joe: it's new *kisses her forehead* i'm gonna go check on the kids *leaves* (i walk into the twins room and smiles at Josh sleeping with his butt in the air)

Amber: mommy?

Joe: no it's me

Amber: i want mommy *disappointed. half asleep*

Joe: did you have a bad dream?

Amber: mhmm

Joe: *kneels down next to her bed* is there anything i can do?

Amber: i want mommy

Joe: okay come on *picks her up and grabs her bear* (i bring Amber to Demi)

Demi: hi sweetie

Joe: (Demi uses all her energy to pull Amber into her arms)

Amber: i hads a bad dream

Demi: nothing can hurt you *kisses her cheek* it's alright.

Amber: cans i sleep here with you?

Demi: of course

Joe: *turns off the light* night night girls

Amber: night Joey

Demi: *sleeping*

Joe: *smiles*

Joe: (over the next week Demi got stronger Josh had a lot of bad days this week but Demi still helped out. When Josh need a nap he was more then happy to nap with mommy. This week was for sure a lot harder then the last week cause i went back to training and Demi had to do work. sometimes she couldn't type so i had to take over and man is her job confusing.Money isn't looking good but i graduate training today and i already have a job lined up even tho that doesn't help use right away it still good. Over the week i got to spend more time with Amber i'm started to learn how smart she really is. Demi explained that she's been homeschooling amber since Josh got sick. Josh has to many bad days to keep up with school and Demi doesn't have time or money to put one kid in school and not the other. It amazes me that Amber is as smart as she is without public schooling.)

Zac: Earth to the Jon-i

Joe: Mm?

Zac: dude *punches his arm*

Joe: *snaps out of it* what?!

Zac: it's time to go

Joe: oh alright
