Two unsaturated solutions were prepared, each consisting of stoichiometric ammounts of copper(II) sulphate and sodium benzoate. Upon mixing, copper(II) benzoate precipitates as blue flakes.

  • Man, You need to go for a school of cameras to pick up the correct refractive index!

You are blurring the video continuously!

    good video, but nothing special

  • @Tharosa1942 It's not a movie camera and you can't lock the focus. It's not my fault the software inside is shifting the focus all the time.

    School of cameras, lol.

  • @endimion17 Badass Camera!

    haha

    You know what I'm saying?

You video these things in manual mode (I think there will be)

Then you can adjust your settings

  • @Tharosa1942 There is no manual mode as it's a camera for taking photos. Only one mode for taking clips, which is automatic. It's designed for recording simple clips of distant objects.

  • What Quantities/Ratio of each chem is required

  • I made a lot of copper-benzoate, it is easy to make, but it is a really toxic stuff. If you eat 1-2 gramms you can die. Not joke.

  • Yes, it can be filtered with a regular coffee filter. It is very insoluble. It requires lots of purifying with distilled water in order to remove sodium ions, and because Cu-benzoate is flaky, it takes a considerable ammount of time.
