  • @inbetweentics I would invest in a USB turntable so you can hook directly up to computer. Good way to save your tunes. Dave

  • I remember this song. great stuff

  • On this date in 1977 {Feb. 19th} "Angel In Your Arms" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100; eventually it peaked at #6 and spent 27 weeks in the Top 100...

    Ranked 5th on Billboard's Year-End Hot 100 Singles of 1977 chart

Reached #29 on Billboard's R&B chart, #3 in Canada, #7 in New Zealand, and #27 in Australia

Barbara Mandrell's covered version reached #8 on Billboard's Country chart in 1985

  • @novadj61 OK... Let's see... seems pretty ignorant to respond to a post from A WHOLE YEAR AGO. And are you a mind reader? (You must be, else how would you know - apparently be than I do - what I think about Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, or Aretha Franklin?)

  • @shmuli9 what an ignorant thing to say. songs dont have assigned colors anymore than seats on the bus do, and it is funny that you had no problem with ray charles recording georgia on my mind, or stevie with we can work it out, or aretha with eleanor rigby.

  • Lol Gwen sounds good I see her every Sunday and wednesday and Monday

  • It's a scratchy record playing. I know the sound of friction between a diamond needle and scratchy grooves.

  • @retrofever1969 me 2

  • Hmm... why do country artists have oi re-do some songs? Because the originals are done by "coloured artists" or the vocals aren't nasal enough? ("But the ayngeeeeyl in yer aaaarms")
