to be honest i agree with you one hundred percent, the "culture" of islam should be no excuse for the stupid decisions made in their government, and this is a prime example of that, the laws are based on a book written by people from thousands of years ago instead of common sense and i just think that's bullshit.

2a. ...If you cast your imagination out to the public that watched the flogging, I'll bet you'll find the faces of those who were struck with horror at the sight of such a thing. Then there would be the faces of those who have had to stunt themselves emotionally, or channel their rage in some self preserving manner, in order to keep from being overcome with shock. Stunted might not be the right word. Perhaps misdirected is more apt. There are many being tortured in that one event.

Now let me ask you this; have you ever heard of the KKK? You probably have, and they claim strong ties to Christianity. But as many as I've ever met, there've been assholes, and some pretty decent people among them, depending on how they interpret. But I think they exist among any sect, including Atheists, and Theists of any foundation. I accept your rage, and think it justifiable....
