Some church elections have often been characterized by wrangles and even fist fights. And the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa was not taking chances during an exercise to elect a new head of the church. In the biblical analogy of separating matters of earth from matters of heaven, the church invited the Interim Independent Electoral Commission IIEC to help it carry out the election of a new archbishop and as Nimrod Taabu reports, the IIEC got it right yet again.

  • SHAME!!

  • This is totally illegal. The church and state MUST be separated at all costs. Taxpayer funds must not be used in religious activities. Shame on IIEC.
