Gatton Academy Race to the Top Commencement Challenge Entry

As one of Newsweek magazine's "Public Elite" American high schools, the Gatton Academy offers a unique learning opportunity for Kentucky high school juniors and seniors. As Kentucky's only state-supported, residential high school for students interested in advanced STEM careers, the Gatton Academy assists local districts in meeting the needs of high-ability students from rural, suburban, and urban populations across the Commonwealth. In this video, Academy students share why the living/learning environment at our "atypical high school" is so unique and worthy of recognition in the Race to the Top Commencement Challenge.
