There is hardly any shadow from these objects. This movie was taken on 21 April 07 in Singkawang, West Kalimantan (Borneo) Indonesia. It was noon 12 p.m. and this town enjoys equinoxes almost throughout of the year.

  • this was recorded with a

    toaster!

  • The thumbnail looks like a big sticky bud, that's the only reason I clicked on it.

  • I see a shadow! Almost as big of a let down as the "real alien footage". Just kidding but seriously it is just a bush in the sunlight.

  • Very interesting video. Just a small correction: it's useless explain the N/S when you're on latitude 0° (it's very obvious you're standing on the equator line). Besides that, excellent short clip: the sun at the zenith is amazing. Good job :) The next equinox (sept 22nd), if you can, try to stick a pole or something like that in the ground, and film it at 12:00 PM your GMT time: it will cast no shadow at all :) Greetings from L 41° 54' N 12° 27' E

  • why didn't you show the sun?
