@heeraky Hi, I am impressed by the Anglican chorister tradition, can't be bettered in my opinion. I'm Church of Ireland (Anglican Communion) from Southern Ireland. What does the medal signify; attested choral competence? Or tenure? And have you sung close to any of the royalty? Were you there for Will & Kate's wedding? Take care!

@Londonfogey ...But Pentecostalism atracts Youths... So...

@Londonfogey What you're discribing is something like Roman Catholic Charismatic Renewal, or somewhat Pentecostal Protestant Churches. I'm just a Portuguese Roman Catholic, I don't know too much about Anglicanism, but as I know, hey seem to be less sensitive to those practices, apart, maybe, some perharps conservative Pentecostal Evangelical groups. Surprise for me if it's the broader Church!... Have a good evening!...

There are still a fair few Anglican services where this is part of the normal service, at least in London. Fortunately not everywhere has fallen prey to rock bands, projector screens and the ecstatic waving of arms...
