Funky Blues

Well, its been a while, but I've finally figured out how to truely 'drive' this Workstation =D . What you're about to hear / hearing is a composition entirely of my own - this time, even the backing track was sequenced by me. In this video I am playing the lead with an Electric Piano voice. I have transposed the piece into the key of E - purely because I'm getting sick of C, can't be bothered to learn any more scales for now and because with a keyboard, you can! =P . I'll be making more of these soon and will hopefully be able to refrain from playing a single blues scale in the next one =P . Enjoy!

I should note that it sounds a little sloppy. The reason for this, is that I've quantized the backing track (alligned it to the beat) which is why it sounds dead on, where as obviously it's not quite as easy whilst trying to play it live (listen carefully and you'll hear a fair few errors =P). Hopefully it'll still sound half decent to you though.

It's not supposed to be a traditional blues piece this one. Unfortunately there are very few backing presets with this workstation and its got virtually no swing rythms on it lol. If you'd rather hear a piece with a genuine swing, check out my piano piece :)
